Commercial Expertise
For the last three years I have been the Commercial Director of The National Heritage Centre for Horseracing and Sporting Art, joining the project at its planning and building stage, though its opening by Her Majesty the Queen in November 2016 and to the end of its first year during which it was honoured by being shortlisted for the Art Fund Museum of the Year 2017.
The Heritage Centre is entirely self supporting, it has no safety net of revenue funding from government, local authority, or university. Therefore it was essential to develop and build successful commercial enterprises.
